I'm OK with 8 GB for now. I just pick what I want and sync with my laptop. I know folks that do carry their whole collection around, but I go through phases and can get by with a mere several hundred songs at a time.
I like the iPod touch. The iPhone was all wrong for me, especially given AT&T coverage in this rural area where I live, and I'm pretty hard on cell phones. I wish they had included a few more of the iPhone apps that would have worked with WiFi, but I guess they didn't want to undercut the iPhone too much. I'll admit that this is one of those things I bought simply because I found it to be an elegant technological toy, and I get a certain amount of pleasure just from using it. If my laptop is not on, it's actually much quicker to check things like the weather channel on the ipod. >>> Cotty <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 1/10/2008 3:16 PM >>> On 10/01/08, Adam Maas, discombobulated, unleashed: >If the iPhone had an HDD, I'd be interested in one, >as it is, it's a downgrade as an MP3 player from my 60GB iPod. I gather manufacturers are ceasing production of small HDDs - I expect because flash memory is now reaching decent capacities? I grimace every time I see my son chuck his 80GB video iPod about. Those little read/ write arms.... 8GB on my iPhone is bad. I want 32 at least (flash). -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions. !SIG:47867d5f103761523124978! -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
