This reminds me of a couple I met while my ex and I were living in a travel
trailer some years back. They were in the camp ground space next to me for
awhile.

Talking with them they said, they were there visiting with their grandkids
who lived in the near by town.

They said, they traveled around the country visiting the kids and grandkids
all summer long. Then in the winter they went to their place in the Michigan
Upper Peninsula for the winter. Just the opposite of all the other
snowbirds.

"The UP", I asked incrediously?

"Oh yes, we love snowmobiling and cross country skiing", they replied. "The
winter is our favorite time. We have a pole barn on our property up there.
IT has a fireplace and hookups for the trailer inside."

"We just pull the trailer inside, and use it as the bedroom, kitchen, and
bath" they told me.

"The area by the fireplace becomes our living room. The rest of the year we
store our snowmobiles and other winter stuff in it. We just love the winter
up there and all the snow", they finished.

Just goes to show:

The optimist's cup is half full,
The pessimist's is half empty,
The wise man enjoys his drink.
