Christine, that's not only my home town, but as a child before and partly during WW2 I lived at what is now the Best Western Inn of Chicago... and was then th St Clair apartment hotel... which was right near where you shot. (Ohio Street a couple of blocks off Michigan). back then Navy pier was "active". I have to say though, that the photo is so "perfect" that it exemplifies what I dislike about digital images... nothing to do with your framing or eye.. alas, I hate what has happened to my old neighborhood, too... that building in front is particularly awful. I like the crane - it is symtomatic :) ann > > -------------- Original message ---------------------- >From: "Christine Aguila" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > >>or a South Pacific sunset, and certainly not majestic lighthouses, but-- >>(you'll have to supply your own bird) >> >>small >> >>http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6826229 >> >>large >> >>http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6827702 >> >>Comments/Critique welcome. >>Cheers, Christine >> >> >> >>-- >>PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List >>[email protected] >>http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net >>to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow >>the directions. >> >> > > > > -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
