If you're referring to the post I think, I must say that it was so 
idiotic and childish and mindless and (insert-your-own adjective here), 
not to mention unnecessary, that I somehow couldn't bring myself to 
getting provoked. But I think I understand what you are saying...

One might always moderate the list properly, but I wouldn't dream of 
doing all the work involved myself, so I don't except others to be 
bothered either... And there's always the risk of the moderator being 
too subjective...

So filtering is probably the answer. I never filter on sender myself, 
but I all PDML messages are sent to a separate folder that I clear 
completely from time-to-time, without ever reading all of the posts...
