We were delighted to read a story about difficult to spot Long Eared
Owls who had taken up winter residence in a park/school yard near
downtown Chicago. We drove in yesterday morning and snapped this.
There were 3 owls this morning, but they have had 7 to 11 sleeping
over in the pines... strange residents for very urban Chicago.
