Another from the archives -- taken at Taos Pueblo, Fall 2006. According to Lightroom, I have shot 12,500+ digital. (Not subtracting those taken of junk to sell on ebay.) I guess that means I can show a few more photos -- "second tier" photos that I consider okay.
I blew it at Taos Pueblo, even though it was mid-day, there was lots of opportunity -- colors, blue on adobe, shapes, shadows, windows, doors, etc. But I really didn't get much that was decent. Sometimes I arrive somewhere I really want to shoot and I never get "in the zone." Never get into that space where I look at things in such a way that I can produce an interesting photo or two. Instead I just sort of wander around, fumbling, trying to figure out what to shoot. One of these days I will figure out what triggers me; what puts me into the right space or close to it. Anyway, I added all that because I assume it happens to others too. I sort of like this, the colors, and the dog, implying how warm/hot the day was. http://members.aol.com/eactivist/PAWS/pages/dogday.htm Comments welcome.
