I knew you would feel curious, Jaume ;-) I was looking at other brands, and I say I was because I have stopped doing it by now and sold all the Nikon gear I had bought, not exclusively looking for better AF performance, although it would be a nice thing to have, but for other reasons. Nikon high end lenses are painfully expensive, at least for my budget, but there are lots of interesting Nikon AF lenses in the second hand market for good prices. In fact, the user interface and menus in Pentax DSLRs are better for me than the Nikon counterparts. I have also found when using some budget Canon and Nikon DSLRs is that their AF may be a bit faster, and as you say, better in low light, but not as accurate as in my Pentax cameras. The paradox is that my MZ-S cameras have faster AF and much better low light AF performance than their present models.
