Jostein, Yes, they cite Libbrecht in the article as a leading authority. I've never checked his web site. It's a hobby for him. His paying job is Chairman of the Physics department at CalTech. I've also got to look for his book, Field Guide to Snowflakes. Regards, Bob S.
