OK. I am clueless. I put the 18~55 DA lens on the K1000 body thinking it would only work at WO aperture because it has no aperture simulator. However, when I actually looked at a slow shutter speed, it appears to be stopping down to 16 or 22. I tried my other DA lenses and the same thing. Why is my thinking wrong here?
I shot a series of exposures at 21mm setting, and the prints show a definite vignette, but the usable area is much bigger than the digital sensor size. I am going to scan some negs and crop to see how an 8x11 looks. Somebody please tell me how this stuff really works :-) Walt BTW, the Alt-Print Screen does nothing to capture a screen shot.
