Paul,

1)  Saw the post on shake.
No real surprises...
They both can't work together.
Motion sensors in the camera settle the chip down.
Motion sensors(?) in the lens settle the lens image down.
One set of sensors doesn't know what the other is doing.
Both are trying to correct the same motion (accelerations).

2)  Improved autofocus - I don't know what to say.
We didn't see any announcements or promises.
Maybe the faster lenses are helping speed.
