That sounds bad. I've been sing a Speedtouch 510 modem/router for about 6 years and it has seen good service pushing the internet through an Apple wireless base station (Airport) i various guises. Last time it was physically moved was over 2 years ago. I moved it yesterday to a different room and suddenly it became intermittent, then refused to synchronise with the DSL, dammit. Spent 4 hours trying different combos of configurations in case it had had a bad case of 'now-what-was-I- supposed-to-remember?' syndrome. Internet access hardware and software problems are the worst, because what's the one thing you desperately need when troubleshooting these things? Actually, no. The answer is: a life!!!! Double bank holiday weekend here so down to PC World this morning rather than save money shopping on the net. (sent from a 3G card with Macbook jammed up against bay window on the slimmest of cell phone signals - I can count the individual bauds leaving - how did I ever survive dial-up???? ) -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
