Interesting to see that it's finally official (and officially named the A900). Pretty ignorant write-up, though. Asking if it's going to compete with the performance of the Nikon D3. The answer is NO - it's not going to be targeted at sports shooters like the D3; it has twice the pixels, which will slow down the data throughput, and the pixels are half the size, so they'll be noisier. Still has amazing potential, though.
