Perhaps what Sony is hoping for is to make sales of packages that 
include both still and video cameras. *You* wouldn't buy such a package, 
but corporate clients with technically ignorant purchasing departments 
might. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Sony started working that angle 
aggressively.
