It's a Yashicamat EM. It is in fact a selenium
metered camera (the dealer who sold it to me said
so.) Frantisek, thanks for the info on the
selenium meters. I took the camera to Adorama.
Turns out they don't do repairs, but they refered
me to a place called Panorama Camera at 124 West
30th St. They told me to leave it there and call
tomorrow to find out if it can be fixed and what
it will cost. From what Frantisek said, it sounds
like I might be better off just buying a meter,
but I'll wait to hear what they say.

By the way, Panorama Camera had tons of old
equipment and collectible cameras which appeared
to be in mint condition. A lot of it was rather
pricey, but I'm sure at least a lot of it works.
Worth checking out for those in or near the city.

Coincidentally, I did a search for Yashicamat on
Google and I came up with the website of our own
Francis Tang. Thanks for the link to the
Yashicamat faq, Francis! ;)
