Well, I did some searching of recently completed eBay auctions and got
some surprising results. I found two examples of the F100/2.8 Macro, one
of which had been put up with a "Buy It Now" price of $145.00! Needless
to say, that sold with a BIN bid! I wish there was some way of telling
how long the auction lasted but I'd be surprised if it were more than a
couple of hours :) Hell, *I'd* have bought it for that price, especially
after seeing the next auction...

The other F100/2.8 Macro auction had a seller with the opposite problem:
OVERvaluing the lens. It didn't sell because it failed to meet reserve.
No way of telling what the reserve price was... but the bidding got up
to $380.00.
