I collect and use, first it was the complete set of smc takumars, now
I am working on a complete set of the first K series, plus
assorted good M & A series lenses but not the whole set of M & A,
the K are nicer in many instances.

I don't collect. But I hold nice machinery in great esteem. So I've kept an
LX, a Spotmatic, a Spotmatic F, a Leica iiif RD and a few other cameras. I
also have my Vivitar 200/3.5 lens that earned me many thousands of dollars
and is held together with duct tape. They all occupy a place of honor in a
dust free, illuminated cabinet. Why not? We don't abandon old friends. Paul
