A contradiction to my mind. Street photography is realism. First  
cousin to journalism.  It has nothing to do with impressionism and  
certainly has little to do with jazz music. All genres can be valid.  
Each work can  be judged on its own merits. You reacted positively to  
this photo when first presented, then hopped on the bus when someone  
objected to its surreal nature. Are you coming down firmly on both  
sides of the fence? (Ouch:-)
