Probably wishful thinking on the part of the store personnel. Distribution of goods, relationships with local retail outlets, has been a weak point of Pentax for a long time. "Treated like mushrooms" is an old metaphor that describes local stores in this relationship. We can only hope that the new Pentax actually makes some moves to improve the situation. Whether a 100% turnover is the answer or not is hard for anyone outside to discern.
