The paper matters....
Using matte paper instead of lustre or glossy corrected that for me...
One of the papers I had used got the magenta, another got the greenish...  
Converting to gray scale in photoshop.

I"m sure others will have better details - but I couldn't get true black 
and white
stuff unless it was matte with my Epson R220....
