I lived in PS Elements for years until LR came along. I have a K20D and with 1.4.1 it has no trouble with either DNG or PEF; I use the latter because they're more compact. I suppose it's a matter of taste, but the only thing I use Elements for any more is doing damage repair on crappy old slide scans.
I think Lightroom is a totally wonderful piece of software. One of the best things is that it has no "Save" button - all the edits are non-destructive; when you're finished working you just shut it down. Also, the crop/level control is a thing of beauty. Also, performance is a feature, and LR is really REALLY fast. -Tim -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
