Hmm. I like some things about this and find others distracting. The woman and the picture on the wall are very much the relationship of the photo. Her insouciant pose and the strange contradiction of the garb and potato box tray just work. The light is very flat, dead on casting hard shadows. That almost works although I'd like it more if there was just a little bit of modeling to the skin tones. The table edge jutting in from the the left at mid-thigh height is distracting. I see no good way to just crop it out ... maybe some artful cloning would work.
