We visited Amboise and Clos Lucé, but none of my photos from there made the cut. Travel photography is a really difficult genre in which to work. You can't wait for the right weather, right day or even right time of day. It's not like other types of photography, in which you can just come back tomorrow or next week if conditions aren't right: You have to work with what you've got and try to get usable shots *right now*.
