I had nothing better to do and so I spent some time perusing the posts over at the Pentax Forums. The first Pentax discussion forum if you can believe them. (I wonder if they even know we exist, well yes some of them do but that comes later). So anyway I found a thread called "Can the Pentaxians save Pentax?" Apparently there's a bit of angst over there about the fact that a "Pro" who had been under contract to Pentax for publicity purposes decided to go back to Canon. Who pops up but our old friend Alan Chan to snipe about Pentax's "AF performance" and "ill made AF-540FGZ", not that I'd heard anything really bad about the latter. I just found it so depressing I had to make a triple strength screwdriver...
