I kind of knew you'd want to be riding the motorcycle.  The Pinarello
would have even less carrying capacity - like none!  You'd need a
support vehicle for sure - plus, you'd likely have to leave a week in
advance.  Lots and lots of mountains along the way, as I recall.  That
15 pound bike would come in handy going up!
