I use cheap sdhc cards - paying $17 to $24 per card.
I bought 4 GB cards for the K20D, 2 of them,
and then the 8 GB cards were available for $27 so I picked up 2 more.
They are all class 6 speed rated.

I never bought sdhc cards for the K10D because I couldn't figure their speed.
Paul's note inspired me to try one of my 150X 2GB sd cards vs an 8GB
sdhc class 6 card.
I shot 14-15 frames filling the buffer, then one more for good measure
(longer delay).
I watched the camera write to the card.
The sdhc speed class 6 card took ~55 seconds from start finish. (pqi brand)
The 150X 2GB sd card took ~84 seconds from start to finish. (ocz brand)

So I'm happy with the sdhc speed class 6 stuff.
The fastest card I have is a 233X 2GB card.
The speed class 6 stuff should be close.

Regards, Bob S.
