How do I put this gently.  I can't.  That is by far the most annoying 
way to view good images that I have ever seen.  For me it would make bad 
images even worse as I would be spending all of my time looking at the 
effects and ignoring the content.  If you're a good photographer you 
don't need it, if you do, you should sell all your expensive gear and 
buy a P&S, the simpler the better. Only take pictures of the kids and 
your pets to show the family, because they're the only ones who'll 
bother to look at your work.
