I have a soft spot for Russian glass... :-) A Tair 3a from a Zenit Photosniper which an old design 300mm f4.5 or perhaps one of these http://rugift.com/photocameras/rubinar_8_500_lens-pentax.htm Used ones of both turn up for a song on the bay... Just for a laugh I modified a Photosniper to electrically fire the *ist-dl, much easier than dragging a tripod through the undergrowth but can have a tendency to get you noticed by the authorities. takes quite nice pictures though. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rileyelf/831268962/ I must confess though, neither of these two lenses could be described as small or light.
