Thanks Jim, and the rest of you. 

I'll experiment a little this weekend to see how it works. I have been thinking 
about pictures with mirrors but without the photographer and a couple of other 
illusions, and the loss of resolution when doing it in PS is a good point in 
favour of such a lens.

Regarding the price Norway is a good place for Pentax bargains .-)
