I second that recommendation. The problem seems to be that many NiMH's suffer from a voltage-droop as they discharge. Eneloops maintain a constant high voltage until they are almost exhausted. I couldn't get any use out of Energizer's at all; in fact the K100D complained and wouldn't work. I also recommend a smart charger (ie one that senses charging current) rather than those ones that simply charge away for 10 hours on a timer regardless of what's in the cells. An Ansmann is working great for me.
