Yesterday (Sunday) was one degree F below the record high temperature. It was 98F, with a 110F heat index (which means humidity was insanely high too). So how did i spend my day? Why, going for a 100k bike ride for charity of course! The "Tour de Cure" for diabetes research rolled through town and a few of us from work set up a team for the 63 mile (100k) ride. The longest ride I'd done before this was 40 miles so I thought this would be a nice challenge and for a good cause.
