Thanks for that "Vanessa Winship" link, didn't know about her, good
stuff (I love that old gritty dark style, almost timeless)

I found that project through the flickr stream of one of the selected
photographers; the photos featured from him are not the ones I like
the best (I'm guessing the curator's taste) but yes, I like flash
forward better.

lol, now that you mention it is true, lately 50% of portraits I've
seen in this style of photography are in a bed ;-)
