LOL thanks Christine, I took about 50 shots last night. This one was the last one before the batteries ran out of juice, so it was a lucky catch in that way... :-) The site is a fantastic place to practice bird photography. A highly productive lake in the middle of an Oslo suburb, protected as a freshwater nature reserve, and with its own passionate fan-club: http://www.ostensjovannet.no/ (norwegian only...). The stationary birds there are accustomed to human presence, and have a soothing effect on the passing migratory species in spring and autumn as well.
