Probably not a lot rougher than a lot of other environments.  The *ist-D 
can probably survive anything you could.  I think you'd probably survive 
being in the equivalent of a V-2 take off, that is assuming it didn't 
blow up just after liftoff, (they did that quite often), the landing 
however...
