Well...... For the first time I can remember, there is a rebate on Pentax kit in the UK. I walked past an outlet of one of our biggest retail photography chains this afternoon, in a shopping centre that is one of the biggest on the country. In contrast to the huge boards spelling out the rebates on Canon and Nikon gear, the Pentax stuff had store-printed A4 sheets quoting the full retail price. As far as anything other than the big two is concerned (and, even then, just the mainstream stuff) it makes no sense whatsoever to buy equipment fron the High Street in the UK. As model changes accelerate, this will only get worse. ----------------------------------------- Email sent from www.virginmedia.com/email Virus-checked using McAfee(R) Software and scanned for spam -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
