I used to work for Ritz. From what I gathered, their relationship
with Pentax was rocky at best. Their smaller stores will get the
K200's, but for a K20 you'd have to go to one of their 'Ultra'
stores. The smaller stores only get a basic selection of gear (kit
lenses, 55-200/75-300s, the odd tamron 18-200, maybe one or two
'specialty' Canikon lenses), while the Ultra's have a pretty good
selection. If customer came in looking for an item we didn't have, we
could transfer it from our local Ultra store or 'Ritz Express' it in.
In all honesty, if they have to ritz express an item in, you're better
off buying it online.

As for their ads, I don't think they check local inventory when they
print them. I helped open a new store, and the grand opening ad
mentioned a cheapo clearance film P&S that we never even had in stock.

The only reason I go there anymore is a) I still have friends who work
there and b) they're geographically closer than anything but walmart.
