Excellent essay Christine - a great big thick slice of American pie.

Thanks also for the explanation - whatever sport they're playing
doesn't mean anything to me, and some of the vocabulary is a bit alien
(cross-town series? bleachers?) but it doesn't matter because the
pictures are as American as a steaming hot dog.
