Oh, right!  Sorry about that.  Bloody American, assuming the world knows who 
the Cubs & Sox are.  ;-) Big apologies!   It's baseball.  In the context of 
my original post, I used the word bleachers to mean just your typical 
stadium seats.

However, when you are inside the baseball park, there are seats behind 
homeplate and 1st & 3rd base:  closest to the field are the premium box 
seats, then behind those are the terrace seats, then grandstand, then upper 
grandstand.  But the seats behind the outfield are called the bleachers. 
There are left field bleachers and right field bleachers.

Cross town is just a team from one side of the town versus the team from the 
other side of the town.  In this case, north side against south side.
