If you shoot RAW, the K200D is slower than the EOS 1000D and has a
smaller buffer. If you shoot JPEG, the K200D is only faster for the
first 4 shots, then it's far slower because you just ran out of buffer
and the Canon's buffer is unlimited in JPEG.

The Canon is less crippled. I'd rather have a slow framerate than a 4
shot buffer.
