That's what I did, then reran the Windows update.  I suspected the problem
because it occurred as soon as Windows rebooted after the update.  A look at
the firewall log showed me that everything was being blocked, so I shut it
down and fell back on Windows Firewall while I contacted Zonealarm.  I'm
sure many people just thought their ISP was having an outage, it would've
been a sticky couple of hours on ISP help desks while they were trying to
figure out the problem.
