One of the batteries that I purchased along with my K10D failed the other day. Zero volts, and it won't take a charge. It was an Impact brand battery, the brand that B&H sells for slightly less than twenty bucks. I guess that's not a totally bad life. When was the K10D introduced? Almost three years ago? This would have been purchased right at launch time. I replaced it with two more of the same brand. Still less than one Pentax battery. I now have six. Two in the K20D and grip with two backups. One in the K10D with one backup. Paul
