Moral of the story--if you're happy with your friend and would gladly go out of your way to do things for him/her, charge low--even free if they're "worth" it! If you would rather not deal with them or will be unhappy with the arrangements, charge high. Now if they really want you and bite the high price, at least you'll be rich.
