Jostein, Good Morning! I feel this shot should be an example of a balanced, symmetrical composition. My earlier comment about the difficulty of including sufficient elements from the posted horizontal version in producing a vertical or square composition is depicted here in the uneven balance of sidewalk on both the left and right side of the water planter. You would lose quite a bit if you attempted to balance out these elements in a straightened up version of this particular shot. Would be a shame to sacrifice much sky or not include the near portion of the planter.
