Other than trimming the leader, I find my Leica IIIf very simple to use. But each to his own. I also tend to stick with a brand and kit for financial reasons rather than brand loyalty. Hip-hopping from Nikon to Canon to Pentax to Olympus to whatever can get very expensive.
