I need the cord that I'm mentioning in this craigs list ad I put up... Can't find one locally... (so far) http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/wan/795568113.html Ive made the wonderful discovery that if I plug in old fashion little speakers into the earphone jack on the TV , I can keep the volume from going up when commercials come on. all the other info you need to help is in that craigslist thingy... If you have one of those cords lying around and could spare it or you know where I can find one cheap Id love it. I have a few odds and ends I could trade - write me off list alternatively, I wouldn't mind buying a little speaker that is mono and that I could just plug into the TV - The earphone jack that I have fits both my Dell computer and my Sharp tv... if I had that on a little speaker it would work, too. I'm a audio tech idiot... But TADA! I finally got the sound back on my computer and managed to set it up so I don't have any wave sounds and I only hear stuff if I plug in my earphones... Had to admit there were a few things I wanted to actually hear on the web... like a friend's radio show... sorry I'm not commenting much on pics -- I've gotten buried with chores here...including a house guest coming for the high rollers Scrabble tourney the end of next week.
