No, but it *felt* as big as a truck when I rode Rt 221 between Grandfather Mountain and the town of Blowing Rock, NC! That road had me longing for an R6 or my old FZR400 race bike :) > BTW: The Prius at 95mph on cruise control when I crossed Wyoming > returned 39 mpg. I'm pretty sure that your Triumph would be like my > Ducati 907IE: mileage down in the low 30s or high 20s at those speeds. The hard bags probably add considerable drag, especially at high speed. I did get 52 mpg for the trip from Pittsburgh to GFM, through the mountains and mostly at 70-80 mph. But I drove the Prius when I went down last week: There's no way the Triumph would haul that Pentax 67 kit (in addition to all my other photo gear). I guess the Canon D1 is the reason Cotty needs a Land Rover ;-) -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
