Sorry - I misread your post. The extra charges of the increased cost you mean. Charges are different here. There are several contracts available, both personal and business. I pay 45 GBP per month and that gives me 1200 minutes a month and 500 texts. All data is included with a 3GB download 'fair usage' policy. The device cost me 59 GBP (16 gig model) although would have been provided FoC if I had chosen the 8 gig. It's a fair amount for a cell phone, but is much more than that. I used to run Palm Treos and the difference in features and usability is off the scale.
