Actually, Anne has this really cool Chinese bike. She recently bought
it used, it's probably ten years old. Looks like it was patterned
after a classic stepthrough frame (what we used to call "a girl's
bike" when we were younger and less politically correct). Single
speed with a coaster brake, front basket, fenders the whole shebang!

The bike was unharmed, other than a new scratch to match all the old scratches.

Thanks, Scott, and thanks to everyone else for your thoughts and
wishes. I'll pass them on to Anne tonight when I see her. Fingers
crossed that she gets this surgery out of the way so she can get home
and start to mend.

Thanks again!

cheers,
frank
