I guess it was inevitable. It is still sad to accept it.
I started in photography, formally, in 1983. Beginning with my first
35mm camera I devoured all things photographic.
At a time I shot both print and slide film. The slide film was for me,
the print film to show friends and family. I tried to shoot slow film
and Kodachrome. Eventually it became too much of a hassle to send out
the film to develop. They even ended up sending me a roll that was not
even mine. That was the last straw.
Though my slides are 'archived' since my stay in Baltimore, I may have
to bring them out to find my last use of Kodachrome. I am almost
positive that the should would have been taken with an LX :-)
Hmmm, maybe I should push a roll through one of my LXen.
Thinking about finishing a roll of Ektachrome in my 67 this weekend,
