Hi Paul, I have a G4 dual as well running 10.4.11... Try pulling the power plug from the wall socket altogether, leave it for a while, then plug it back in and try pushing the power button. This thread may be of interest: <http://forums.macosxhints.com/archive/index.php/t-52401.html> I had mine decide to not power up once, and pulled the plug, and then it started up fine.
