hi, in my city, about three years back they built what is called the Metropolitan Mass Rapid Transport System for cheap public transportation within the city to complement the already existing train network. it didn't quite take off due to bad planning so the route was recently extended, so it's being used much more extensively now. still, if you are there in the mornings before 9 am the platforms are quite deserted:
